Chuck was seeking a unique way to capture the intimacy of a live worship time but still create a musical piece that would stand on it's own. He came up with the concept of recording the initial tracks with just piano and lead vocal in front of a live audience. WebRecording in the new studio relieved some budget pressures which were in play on the first album, and provided a bit more of a relaxed attitude and setting for the recording of this album. Chuck Girard remembers that the project seemed to take a long time to record, and there were some problems with final mixes that required a number of re-mixes.
