Early ketland lock

WebAn early 1800’s, full stock, flintlock trade pistol. It was made by W. Ketland & Co. of London, and is so marked on the lock plate. The gun has an iron barrel, marked “LONDON” on the top, near the breech end with two proof marks, on the left side. It has a goose neck hammer, and brass hardware with light engraving. WebUp for auction today is a Black Powder rifle that has "London Ketland" stamps and is theoretically 56 caliber. So this appears to be a Ketland Fusil. The barrel length is approximately 36 inches overall. Bore is dusty with what is likely cat hair. The flintlock action is in working order and feels positive.
