Web6 nov. 2015 · Yesterday I made the switch from H-335 to Hodgdon CFE 223 powder. My general purpose load of H-335 with the 55 Gr. Hornady FMJBT has been 25.7 Gr. of H-335. I'm seeing that CFE 223 is a tad slower burning. I'm just wondering what you guys are running for charge weight on this powder with the 55 Gr. bullets? According to my new … WebWinchester 748. What makes this powder good, perhaps, is that the 26.1-27 grain loads in the Berger 55 Match bullets, all had basically the same point of impact. That is really good trait.

It seems odd that Hodgdon wouldn't have data for what has to be the most popular bullet and H335 powder. I don't know why that it. They have H335 data for some oddball bullets but nothing particularly useful. They seem to be varmint loads.
