WebSep 12, 2011 · Obviously Dawes is a modern group, but "Nothing Is Wrong" sounds very similar to classic Folk Rock of the 70's. Excellent harmonies and lyrics, though a tad more country-tinged than their first album. The closest album that compares to it might be the new Fleet Foxes' album, though that album's production is a tad more adventurous. WebAnd indeed, nothing is wrong on this album. As an older person I thought I heard everything since The Eagles and Steely Dan. What could surprise me yet ? Well, Dawes did. Great rock music with the finest lyrics I ever heard. Taylor Goldsmith surely knows how to put the essence of life in just a few simple words.
